Eligibility of Technical Support in DELL

Role & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for providing telephone support for customers on operation or maintenance of Dell products.
2. Assist phone customers by diagnosing problems, and providing resolutions for technical and service issues.
3. Responsible for EWS, Total solutions, YTT and In warranty extension sales.
4. Performs work in accordance to standardized policies and procedures
5. Applies diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct failures.
6. Documents problems in the support solution database for diagnostics and solution implementation.
7. Ensure proper escalation procedures are followed.
8. Responsible for customer satisfaction through effective handling of customer problems
Work requires strong analytical ability to resolve complex technical issues in addition to effective phone communication skills.

Candidate requirement:

1. Minimum Graduates in any stream. (10+2+3)
2. Undergraduates with at least 12 months of international call center / 24 months of domestic call center or any other work experience – full time experience.
3. Should be willing to work in shifts in a 24 x7 work environment
4. Fluent communication in English and Hindi
5. Excellent telephone soft skills & thorough telephone functional skills 6. Ability to handle stressful situations.
7. Ability to deal professionally with irate customers Good Knowledge of PC Hardware/Software for desktop & portable systems
8. Any relevant Certification
/Technical Qualification

Eligibility of Software Engineer in Dell

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
1. Designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting
2. Previous experience working with Net and Click Software
3. Design & Develop solutions based on requirements by adopting best standards and providing post deployment production support.
4. Collaborating with business analysts and POs to prepare technical specification documentation.
5. Examining stories, technical design documentations, Test automation and implementation plans for small to complex projects.
6. Participate in product/platform testing.
7. Developing estimates on related project work.
8. Staying current with new technology developments and development techniques.
9. Responsible for monitoring and reporting development project status and anticipating potential issues that could adversely impact scheduled.
10. Work directly with partner teams to understand & design requirements
11. Participate in initiatives that improve overall Stability & Product Quality
12. Able to perform their assigned duties with a certain degree of independence requiring minimal direction and supervision.
13. The candidate is expected to be a key member of the technical problem solving team, routinely sought after to address complex production issues.
14. Proactively contribute to increasing the team efficiency by sharing knowledge, providing feedback about best practices, writing tools / utilities.

Educational Qualification 
1. 5+ years of experience developing in  Net and Click Software
2. Previous exposure to Agile and working in the Product Model
3. Interest to systems architecture
4. Computer Science, System Analysis or similar technical degree
5. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
6. Fluency in English
7. Ability to work independently and/or as part of a global team

Essential Requirements
• Moderate software/IT engineering/code development experience on A2A and B2B applications
• Ability to gain trust and respect of engineers, dependent teams and stakeholders to deliver results, all without direct reporting authority
• Capable of working in a dynamic environment with minimal direction while delivering in a timely fashion
• Ability to find quick consensus of new information and moderate knowledge of system being tested
